You Are Beautiful

Beautiful as faith!
Beautiful as hope!
Beautiful as your parents helping God bring an Angel into this world.

Beautiful as brother and sister playing.
Beautiful as hearing children laughing.

Beautiful as warm sunshine though a window,
On a cold winter's day.

Beautiful as a garden of colorful roses.
Beautiful as a rainbow.

Beautiful as cotton clouds floating in a blue sky.
Beautiful when you look up to heaven with a bright smile.
Beautiful as happiness.

Beautiful when you play piano song.
Your piano song is so beautiful it makes me cry.

You are beautiful as...

Beautiful

As the darkness
sucks all the lightness
from the happiness of a day,
My kneecaps ache as they
lay akwardly upon the
cold, hard, wooden floor.
And as I pray to the heavens above
I beg God for forgiveness.
Forgiveness
for the wishing of death,
I wished upon myself,
fearing that that wish will
become the fate of my love ones.
Tears
fall down my saddened cheeks
Pain
blankets my heart
and the Power
of Breath is Underestimated
by me.
Panicing, suffocation controls me
but I still manage to allow the word
BEAUTIFUL
to be spoken.

(Sing)
When the time is right,
I'm gonna pack my bags,
and take that journey down the road.
Cause, over the mountains,
I see the bright sun shining.
And I want to live inside the glow.

I wanna go to beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
I wanna go to beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
I wanna go to beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
I wanna go to beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
(India Arie)

(Speak)

I wanna go to a beautiful place, where
nightmares are morphed into dreams,
dream to find a beautiful place, where
rivers run deep enough to drown the shame
that lives within me.
I wanna go to a beautiful place, where
my cry for a loving father is heard.
through the songs of the wind blowing.
I wanna go to beautiful place where,
every bird flying across the beautiful
blue sky represents a memory of happiness
in a previous life of weariness.
I wanna go to a beautiful place where,
confidence is no longer haunted by bullets
filled with cream of consequences
but by bullets filled with cream of consiousness.
I wanna go to a beautiful place, where
true beauty if defined by the loveliness that
lives within your heart,
and not by the,
color of your eyes, the complexion of your skin,
or the lenth of your hair.
beautiful...
is where..
I wanna go...
(Sing)
When the time is right,
I'm gonna pack my bags,
and take that journey down the road.
Cause, over the mountains,
I see the bright sun shining.
And I want to live inside the glow.

I wanna go to beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
I wanna go to beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
I wanna go to beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
I wanna go to beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
(India Arie)

Your Beautiful

Your beautiful
and not because of your sparkling brown eyes.
Your beautiful
and not because of your flawless hair
Your beautiful
and not because of the clothes you wear
Your beautiful
and not because of how you perfect your make-up
Your beautiful
and not because of what I tell you
Your beautiful
and not because of the image you've achieved
Your beautiful
and not because of where you rest at night
Your beautiful because of whats on the inside

Beauty, inside and out

I am black
I am beautiful
inside and out

I am black
I am beautiful
my voice is medium toned, I try not to shout

I am black
I am beautiful
I don't let anyone put me down

I am black
I am beautiful
Though sometimes I may act as a clown

I am black
I am beautiful
I'm filled with such pride

I am black
I am beautiful
I'll make such a wonderful bride

Black and Beauty
that describes the outside of me

Nice or mean, you have to decide
To me and most people I am nice inside

I am beautiful, I am black
I am black, I am beautiful
