Culture

Inherited from the fore fathers of ours
Cultures in the world have surfaced and dissapeared
But each one has a distinct uniqueness of its own
Impact was great on the people
Social, economic and politic
Culture...........a single word
which infuences the way of life
From the birth in womb
To the dead in the tomb
An essence of life it gives
Without it we do not have an identity in this world
Be proud of your origin
Be proud of your native culture
And preserve it
As it may dissaper one day just like the others have
We might embrace the modern styles
But always remember our roots

Proud of Africa

I am proud and proud indeed
i shall not propound cause am strongly bound,
to say it loud and let it sound
even as i drown and am down.

The African cultures are most powerful
and has always been so colourful,
allow not they destroy our cultures
those vultures with no culture.

Proud should we be to be Africans
together should we stand to make Africa,
for the development of dear Africa
Lies on our very palms.

Street Culture

American culture
The only life I know
The battleground of hate
An addiction of barriers
The disease of containment
A yearning reality
Evolving hope
Liberating minds
Demanding change
The power, the money, politics
An addiction that cripples the soul
Self-employment, ownership, bureaucracy
Wanting our voices heard
Blocks, sections, divisions
Educating minds
Crippling desire of needs
Transcending a generation
Developing young minds
Pop culture, hip hop, cyber tech
Changing lives
Against violence, welfare, unemployment
Power, money, liberation
An ideology of principals
Exploring options
Exchanging ideas
Making progress
The fabric of our culture
A nickel, a dime, a penny
Street life
The only life I know

CULTURE OF CONFUSION

CULTURE OF CONFUSION
<

Created we have culture of confusion
Divided deeply in deeds and thoughts
Engaging in acts of discriminating assertion
Alluding to social diffeences breaking the hearts

Forgetting that everyone is equal in God's eyes
Free is everyone to pursue their own path of destiny
Anything ignoring that truth is blanket of lies
Forever to hold the grudge causing mutiny

Created we have culture of confusion
Indebting the morality with life of materialism
Doubts and disbelifs causing the delusion
Living in fantasy far away from realism
