Sitting Here Staring At My Last Friend

Sitting here staring at my last friend
We never talk, about the end
How can we talk?
Why should we talk?
The end is here between you and me.

For my last friends
in the bottom of a bottle
Down the barrel of a gun
My last friend is a friend indeed
A friend who could never run.

Your last friend is in your veins
As you stare blanky into that space
I can see it working behind your eyes
once sweet shining beautiful eyes

For your last friends
at the end of a needle
Under the screw down cap
Your last friend is a friend indeed
Draws your blood running like sap

Together we'll leave this cruel world
The sails of death unfurled
Me and my last friend?
Or me and you?
Eaither way, two of us sail.

For my last friends
in the bottom of a bottle
Down the barrel of a gun
My last friend is a friend indeed
A friend who could never run

and your last friends
at the end of a needle
Under the screw down cap
Your last friend is a friend indeed
Draws your blood running like sap

The sails billow out and the ravens scream
as we sail onwards on that ship
You on your own with the unscrewed lid
Me on my own with a smoking gun
One swallow, one bullet and two lives are gone
Me and my last friend
you and your last friend...

for my last friends
in the bottom of a bottle
Down the barrel of a gun
My last friend is a friend indeed
A friend who could never run.

and your last friends
at the end of a needle
Under the screw down cap
Your last friend is a friend indeed
Draws your blood running like sap

Friends

I would like to dedicate this to all my friends, and everyone who has made me who I am today (VERY annoying, clever, cute, funny, sweet, terrible at sports, etc...) , and everyone who has kept me smiling through even the worst times - a couple of examples - Joe, my best mate, Cerith, who is the funniest person I know, Josh, my teddy, always happy to give a hug, and Tomos, who, even though we never talk anymore, will always be my bestest best friend and i will never forget him.

Funny
Ready to help
Idiots (sometimes)
Eternal
Never gone
Dentable (no matter what u do 2 them, they still love u)
Sometimes they are totally stupid, but no-one's perfect, and would you love them if they were anything but what they are?

Friends are funny
Friends are kind
Friends are sweet
Friends are mine
Friends are silly
Friends are good
Friends are nice
Friends never would
Friends are late
Friends forget
Friends remember
Friends are best
Friends are sharing
Friends are to bug (annoy)
Friends are for hanging out
Friends are to hug
Friends are to laugh with
Friends are forever
Friends encourage and persuade
Friends never say never
Friends are sometimes stupid
Friends say things they don't mean
Friends get you through bad times
Friends treat you like a queen
Friends are daft
Friends are great
Friends are there
Friends are just good mates

Friends aren't always there, but no-one is perfect, we all have bad days, and we all get confused. A true friends is almost always there, they laugh with you, not at you. They don't laugh at your dreams and hopes. They share secrets. They help you with maths (or any other schoolwork) . They piss themselves laughing when you make a fool of yourself, then apologise again and again. They try their hardest to make you smile when it seems impossible. They cry for you. They always listen. They give you a random bear hug once in a while. They laugh with you at nothing in particular. They tell you if your jokes are rubbish or if you have a kick me sticker on your back. They go along with what you want and understand your made up language.

Friends make us who we are. Think how you would feel if you had no friends? Now, do you want someone else to be like that. If you see someone on their own, go up to them and say hi.

The only way to have a friend is to be one.

My Angel

I found a friend
Who always knows something's wrong before I do
I found a friend
Who has listened to everything I say
I found a friend
Who is beautiful and doesn't know it
I found a friend
Who is kind, and caring, and funny
I found a friend
Who loves me for being me

I found a friend
Who tries to understand me
I found a friend
Who loves to give me compliments
I found a friend
Who keeps the guys from annoying me
I found a friend
Who loves being around me even though people talk
I found a friend
Who is kind, and mature, and amazing

These two friends
I'm lucky to have
These two friends
I will always have
These two friends
Help me in different ways

These two friends were sent to me from above...

A Friend Like Naomi

I have found a friend,
A butterfly after my own heart,
I have discovered a friend dear friends,
An Angel covered in mud...
A friend i have discovered may be a she,
She is a she that never complains,
A she that is too free to give you peace,
A she that has colourful, beautiful, wonderful spread-out wings...
A friend i have found,
Not in heaven - it was sitting here - down on the ground,
You may not hear it speaking,
Concealed in deep silence but its heart reasoning,
A friend too open - you can feel what it is feeling...
You can hear its thoughts,
A friend too humble - that admits when in the wrong,
A friend - though a she - yet too strong,
A friend i have found,
A butterfly after my own heart...

You all need a friend like Naomi,
A friend who will call you - like she calls me,
Light in complexion,
Not short - not tall,
Not fat - not slim,
A friend with a heart - a heart too long,
A friend who mistakes you for an icon,
Who holds your hand even in distress...

Such a friend is to be appreciated,
Cherished and celebrated,
Such a friend is to be held on to,
Trusted - respected - well spoken of - say all that is true...
A friend like that of mine,
The one that makes you love life,
A friend that directs you to the light,
Well - this one even makes me rhyme,
She makes me smile,
She has been a friend of mine now for a time...
A friend like Naomi

Dear friends i have found a friend,
A friend you should consider making a friend,
Ones like her are rare,
Hard to find anywhere...
I dont mind sharing her,
But you have to promise to treat her like a friend! ! !

A FRIEND LIKE NAOMI
