The Farmworker

The barn rooster declares at last,
The new day has begun.
The farmworker prepares himself
To start work with the sun.

The farmworker mops his brow,
Surveys the weed-filled row,
Stretches well his aching back
Then takes up once more his hoe.

The farmworker pauses now,
Lets rest his weary arm,
Then presently takes up again
The tending of the farm.

The day draws toward it's close,
The sun low in the west;
The farmworker's toil is done
And he has earned his rest.

But one thing all farmworkers know,
As sure as they are born:
That while the long, long day is done,
There's new day in the morn!

A Backward Look With Longing

Season when the leaves rain down
With each zepher of air
And frost turns the hills to brown
Old man Winter draws near.

And my aged bones creek and pine
For far off Sunny Shores
Of which I dream where you were mine
My love, and I was yours.

The Web Of Life

The web of life cycles continues
to weave its pattern around us.
We are an extension of everything
that has gone on before us. Each
being a separate energy taken
from a large energy field.

We are as students in the earth
school participating as time
travelers throughout the eons of
time. Being a small part of the
whole. This life cycle carries
us from life to life..

As actors in the drama of life

We have the potential of under-
standing within ourselves. The
secret is how do we tap into the
knowledge. One way is through
Chakra #6, the brow Chakra. Also
known as the third eye, lying
between the two eye-brows, center
of forehead.

This knowledge can be obtained
through meditation.

If Life Was A Circus

If lide was a circus
I'd be your clown,

I'd get on your pony
ride your merry-go-
round.

if life was a circus
under your big tent,

make love with you
forever
we'd be heaven spent.

if life was a circus
in your arena we would
play,

with each other forever
forever, and a day.

but life is not a circus
I am not a clown,

all I can ever do
is watch your merry-go-
round.
