"I Am Not Yours"

I am not yours, not lost in you,
Not lost, although I long to be
Lost as a candle lit at noon,
Lost as a snowflake in the sea.

You love me, and I find you still
A spirit beautiful and bright,
Yet I am I, who long to be
Lost as a light is lost in light.

Oh plunge me deep in love -- put out
My senses, leave me deaf and blind,
Swept by the tempest of your love,
A taper in a rushing wind.

The Fear Of One's Loved One Losing It All

THE FEAR OF ONE'S LOVED ONE LOSING IT ALL

The fear of one's loved one losing it all
Is the fear of oneself losing it all
Dumb and silent and helpless
Before the Hell another suffers
We weep and cry and try with all our souls
But no one can lift the weight of another-

The fear of one's loved one losing it all-
Is the understanding one oneself does not control this
And the worst may happen
While one is completely aware of it watching it trying to stop it-
The fear of one's loved one losing it all
The fear of being lost.

lost boy eyes

eyes of the lost boy
who's vision is unclear
eyes of the lost boy
who walks in fear
eyes of the lost boy
who's journey is not taken
eyes of the lost boy
who's soul is forsaken
eyes of the lost boy
who can never see again
eyes of the lost boy
who walks alone till' his end
