*01 Lost In France

I'm always losing things
My watch - my keys - my specs
Things physical - things tangible
What will I be losing next? ? ?

Lost property entices me
I always make a visit
In my new false leg is there
Is that not mine - or is it? ? ?

I lost my wife one Saturday
On holiday in Greece
She left me for a pedalo*
And now i live in peace.
*(I think that should be a GIGOLO?)

But some folk lose the strangest things
And that is very odd I find
One lost his JOY - one lost his PEACE
A friend of mine has lost his mind.

One lost his cool - in a game of pool
One lost his heart in France
My friends son lost his innocence
And a brand new pair of pants! ! !

We cannot chose - the things we lose
Our jobs - our local railway station
And other things - like jewels and rings
But never lose your reputation! ! !

Lost

I’m lost

I’ve always said this is a big big world
And now I’m lost in this world
Calling so loud
I’m lost in a world
Made of dark
I’m lost in a world with no light
I lost my way
I’m trapped inside
I lost my phone
And no way out
I’m lost in a place
Where nothing is mine
I’m lost in a world
That you built with your own hands
It’s the world you built
It’s the world you broke
I’m lost in a world that is gay
I’m lost in that world while I’m straight
I lost my friends
I lost myself
I’m lost in a world
That is strange

Among The Trees

I wonder lost among the trees
Looking for the one my heart calls for

I wonder lost among the trees
I see your light amongst the dark

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light is brighter then the rest

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light is out of my reach

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light comes closer

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light is bright like an angel from the sky

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light fades away and leaves me alone

I wonder lost among the trees
Without a hand to guide the way

I wonder lost among the trees
Looking for my guiding light

I wonder lost among the trees
I wonder lost, alone

I wonder afraid of the world
Around me I look for the one

I wonder lost among the trees
I wonder lost and alone forever...................................

Lost Somewhere Out In Space

I am lost, lost somewhere out in space,
With tears in my eyes, and sweats on my face.
I am lost, my mind is constantly wondering;
I am like an unconscious boxer in the ring.

I am fighting an already lost battle.
I am crying for help like a wailing cattle,
On its way to the butcher’s bloody table.
This is no joke; this is not a far-fetched fable.

I am lost not because I am a coward loser.
I am lost because I got clobbered by time.
Time is man’s number one persecutor,
A formidable judge, who is always in his prime.

I can only watch the images traveling with the clouds,
The souvenirs are engraved in my memory.
The autumn leaves are hanging tough on the big tree,
Which is still standing and still looking at the huge crowds.

I am lost. I am lost somewhere in the universe.
Right now, nothing fazes me and nothing matters.
My soul is lost and yet my heart is beating like a clock;
And my entire being is fighting like an out of breath cock.

I am lost. I am lost, and yet I know that Hope is hiding somewhere.
Since I am aware of my circle, the internal flame, the eternal fire
In me, will guide me out of the desert, out of the rainforests,
Out of the stratosphere, and out of the terrible tempests.

There is a time to get lost and a time to find yourself.
We are human, we sin, and nobody is perfect.
If you ever get lost, stop and think like an intellect,
Quit using fancy excuses, and stop behaving like an elf.
