  1.

Freedom Is My Birth Right

I can't appreciate the beautiful
brunettes who pass along my paths,
I can't praise openly and boldly
You are beautiful and lovely;

I can't sleep under the shades of Margosa tree,
Along the long stretch of four way road, free
With my folded hands as support like a pillow
Like a common man and the country fellow;

I have no manly boldness
To pull the emergency chain with goodness,
While the commuters in the train
Speak of politics loudly in vain;

I had no guts and mood
To spit the salty food
Served to me in the house
Where I went to ask for cash;

A liar on the stage
I can't climb the stage
And knock on the head
With folded fist of my hand;

I am not bold to announce
the death of a few notorious politician
As a national wellness and profit
And good for everyone;

I am confined and had no authority
To send the indecent persons, to the zoo -
Who make different noises and boos
While playing national anthem;

Freedom is my birth right
Is just a formal say,
But I had so many inhibitions
And restrictions! Where is my freedom?

A Guava fruit a day

An apple a day
keeps the doctor away
is a proverb;

Alas! the cost of an apple
is more than twenty rupee;

It does not suit everybody's pocket,
So go to another alternative fruit,
Cost effective to all purse
and competitive in price;

Take it as a policy,
A Guava fruit a day
keeps diabetes away,
It is a new saying to follow from today.

  3.

You Will Be Honored If You Behave Decently!

Two friends went for shopping
One person is conservative
The other fellow is loosely talkative!

Both reached a sweet stall,
The shop owner asked them
what they want, to buy; and tell!

The talkative fellow replied instantly,
‘I want the shop’ naughtily - The shop owner
retorted, “You should have born to my father”

The conservative fellow asked the owner
‘Why do you say such a drastic reply? ’
He replied him politely,

If I didn't reply like this,
'He' may ask next time to my girl assistant,
‘I want you’ while she inquires what he wants!

So, be careful,
Mind your words to strangers,
You will be honored if you behave decently!

  4.

Ants go round and round

Ghee in a vessel,
Ants go round and round
Around the vessel
Knowing pretty well
These cannot taste and eat
The ghee!

Similarly,

The innocent people
Make wasteful efforts
To get benefits
From rich persons
Who never help others
From their amassed wealth!
