Parting In Sorrow

Early in the evening
before the sun was fading,
devoted lovers roamed together
down in a country glen.
Autumn leaves were falling
and pretty songbirds calling...
a brief encounter just like gold
life was glorious then.

But suddenly one daybreak
hearts collapsed for love's sake,
having to say goodbye forever...
no knowledge of this at the start.
Today their tears are flowing
cold breezes continually blowing.
All the world is grey and dark
for they live so many miles apart.

Passion

Forty Word Poem:

Love's passion came in waves,
Like the high waves of the ocean,
Sweeping through the body
Filling our hearts with wild emotion...
Each romantic episode
Diminshed our control
For the feeling of love's desire
Dwelt deep down within the soul.

Passion Of The Age

Humour Intended:

Dear Computer,
Sometimes you can be frightening
And at the same time quite enlightening.
But staring at your screen all day
Has turned my hair a shade of grey!

I cannot live my life without you,
You have my heart ~ I shouldn't doubt you.
But playing network games all day
Could possibly drive my friends away.

Although your 'Search' is stimulating
Surfing the net maybe irritating.
But in a million ways you win my praise.
Computer, you are the passionate craze.

Past Memories

Life was a paradise for two
Mountains of love ever new.
Regardless of your painful affliction
You kept the vows, as was your mission.
But alas, love's over now.
A love like yours - too good to last?
I see you cry, and I know why.
Your mind is a picture of skies of blue
When life was a Garden of Eden for Two,
But alas, love's over now.
