I FINALLY Can Live

Now that you've gone...
I can finally join the rest of the world,
I can finally be the person I dreamed,
I can finally live,

Now that you’ve left…
I can finally move on,
I can finally change my world,
I can finally live,

Now that it’s over…
I can finally let go of this anger,
I can finally let go of you,
I can FINALLY live like you were never here.

Scars

My scars are of a special kind,
You may not be able to see them,
But they exist none the less,
From years of torment and hate,
My heart brital and weak,
Not able to feel for anything,
Nothing effects me anymore,
Rumors spread about me,
Negative things,
Nasty things,
I haven't been beaten,
But I have been scared,
With words from uncaring people,
But I say no more,
i am standing up for the poeple who can't,
this wont happen to another inocent soul,
Because though the scars aren't visble,
They hurt worse and longer.

A Deadly Secret

I have witnessed something that I have kept a secret,
It cost a lot to me and to them,
I didn't go to anyone for help,
I denied everything,
Including my existence there,
Now I have grown into someone who won't forgive herself,
Someone who can't stop thinking if I had done something,
Would it have been ok,
I was worried about my family; my friends; and yes even me,
But now I see you can't deny everything like that,
And I would give anything to change what I have done,
And try my hardest to stop it from happening again,
But we all know that that isn't possible so now what to do,
I just feel like I can never be forgiven.

A Fire Burning Inside

This fire is lit by hate,
When you talk it burns higher,
And hotter,
When your around it won't leave,
It just rages on,
Until you leave,
It follows you out.
