This War’s for you..

Microwave with packaging too

This War’s for you

No Secondhand – everything new

This War’s for you

A 4 by 4 won’t smaller do?

This War’s for you

Living in your plastic zoo

This War’s for you

The rubbish that just grew and grew

This War’s for you

The things you brought and threw

This War’s for you

Heating up to 32

This War’s for you

A Revolution perhaps a coup

This War’s for you

Children maimed by bombs that flew

This War’s for you

TV propaganda for you to View

This War’s for you

War

WAR
(Chorus)
War, why war
Why clean we these bloodstain floors?
I say
War, why war
Why not open up the door?
And end this horrible war.

Days, ever so slowly drift on by.
Why must we spread our harsh-full lies?
All we hear in the distant are our baby’s cry
As their heroes die.

War, why war
Why clean these bloodstain floors?
I say
War, why war
Why not open up the door?
And end this horrible war.

And when the day is done
We are still, on the run
If we just use words instead of our gun
We shall have finally won.

War, why war
Why clean we these bloodstain floors?
I say
War, why war
Why not open up the door?
And end this horrible war.

(Repeat Chorus) -optional

Without Death, Bloodshed and Suffering

Without death, bloodshed and suffering wars are never won
And only hatred and grief survives when the fighting is done
And war heroes honoured in every war street parade
By war men the memories of war not allowed for to fade
The politicians the praises of the war dead do sing
Their politicizing of war for sake of power not an honourable thing
For God, Flag and Country and National Pride
Far too many good young people in wars have died
one war leads to another war as the wise one did say
And millions for patriotism in wars with their lives do pay
For the sake of war the war men create us against they
And for the love of a flag the young and brave die in wars today
And on Rememberance Day the war men parade up and down
In a show of patriotism through the streets of the town.

  36.

Just Another War, Just Another War, Just Another War.

Just another war
Fighting insurgents in Iraq
Call in the Air Force to attack
And just go home

Just another war
Heat seeking missiles everywhere
Missing the targets, they don’t care
They’ll go home

Just another war
I don’t think you know what to do
Just a stupid war
The killing keeps on going on
How long will this war carry on?

Just another war
Boy soldiers killing, on their own
The stars and stripes look all alone
To everyone

Just another war
For the black gold, or something else
Are you wasting your nations wealth?
that’s not done

Just another war
Your War on Terror’s crazy too
Exit strategy? No can do?
The killing keeps on going on
Our peaceful way of life has gone

Just another war
You can’t keep all the oil, you know
Planting seeds and watching them grow
Will the Grim Reaper let you go
You know you’ll reap just what you sow

Just another war
You’ll leave the country in a mess
Don’t think you know, what’s for the best
A stupid war
Mothers and children laid to waste
Terrorist claims need to be faced

Just Another War
Just Another War
Just Another War
